This number has rung me twice already, claiming that some kind of computer service subscription is about to run out. They told me I could press 1 to cancel and get a refund - totally a scam just looking to catch you out. It’s awful how they target anyone, especially older folks who might get worried and fall for it. Really hope the police or whoever can find and stop these creeps soon.

Got a call for the second time now, left a voicemail about some computer subscription needing to be cancelled and money being refunded into my account. Told me to call the number back. 0808 1788748 keep ringing me non stop, claiming I have some sort of subscription with their tech firm. At first, they said I was due a refund because their business supposedly went under. Then they called again, threatening to take money from my bank straight away if I didn't pay up. It makes no sense - if they could just take the money, why bother asking for my bank details over the phone? Proper scam attempt.

Got a call from an American lady talking about some subscription I had to pay for!? I ain’t signed up for anything like that. What’s odd - or maybe not so much - is I got this call twice: once yesterday about lunchtime and again today near midday. I’m based down here on the Sussex Coast.

Got a call from 08081788748 around 2pm on Monday the 2nd of December. An automated American lady left a message mentioning some kind of subscription and said to ring back on that number to cancel it. Not sure what subscription she's on about and feels a bit dodgy, so I’m not gonna call back.
