Got a voicemail about four days ago from someone claiming to be from Microsoft’s Security Team. They said if I didn’t call back that number, my computer would get shut off in two days. Funny thing is, it’s been four days and my PC’s running smoother than usual!

These people just waste your time and the worst part is they use some pre-recorded message. Honestly, only the most clueless would fall for it. I really hope the folks running this scam end up dealing with loads of bad luck in their leech-like existence.

Typical scammers on the line again. Someone said, "This is the Microsoft Security Team calling." I replied, "Right, and I'm the Queen of England. Now jog on, mate." That seemed to annoy him big time. Then he had the cheek to say something about my mum and donkeys! Absolutely hilarious.

Someone rang saying there was a problem with my Windows and asked me to call a certain number. I just ignored it and didn’t bother phoning back.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, total scam. I’ve already reported them to the ICC. Honestly, the more folks report these dodgy numbers, the better chance we have of shutting them down. Filling out the report form takes just a couple of minutes and you can do it without giving away any of your own info if you don’t want to.

This is a complete scam! Dont ever return calls to this number, they’re NOT from the Microsoft or Windows Security Team as they claim. They try to fool you into giving money for fake stuff. Stay clear and dont fall for it!

I've received a communication supposedly from Microsoft Security claiming that my licence has lapsed and that my computer will stop working.
