12 yearsIt’s astonishing, really - I've only just received my new phone number, and already I'm inundated with a dodgy text! I'm struggling to make sense of it all. It supposedly comes from QuickQuid, claiming that I’m behind on a loan. They want me to ring 08081017454 and, to opt-out, they suggest texting YBGK to 88802. It’s clearly a scam, and calling them would run me £2.50 per minute! I highly suspect there’s no connection to QuickQuid at all; all they’ll do is keep you hanging on the line while they drain your wallet.
