I got a call from someone claiming they were with HMRC, saying I owed tax from nearly two years back. They wanted me to purchase One4all vouchers worth about £2,000 and send them the codes. They also promised I'd get a refund after I paid everything off. It sounded pretty convincing, so I went along with it. They even warned me I'd face legal trouble if I didn't pay up. 🤦‍♀️

This number rang me up a while back, it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be from HMRC saying I owed a huge sum in tax and threatened me with arrest if I disconnected. I ended the call immediately and guess what, no police showed up at my door or anything. Interestingly, I got the same call a few years back when I was just 13 and in year 8. I was baffled because I didn’t have a job, just a little pocket money from my mum and dad, so how could I owe any tax?

Got a text about some direct debit issue from a company I've never come across and never set up any direct debits with. Might just be a mistake on their end, but I’m not planning to get in touch with them.
