I’m a customer with 3 and recently switched my contract from my father’s name to my own. Today, I received a call from this number, and they were eager to speak with him. When I informed them that the account was now in my name, they seemed flummoxed and couldn’t provide my name. To top it off, they even dangled the offer of a ‘large-screen smartphone’ for free as a ‘thank you’ for my loyalty. I’ve been around long enough to know that nothing is given without a catch. This definitely feels like a scam; I've been with 3 for two years and have never encountered a call from this number before-normally, they stick to sending letters instead.

It seems this phone number is affiliated with Hutchison 3. I've been a loyal customer for around a decade, and just recently, I added an additional line for my wife. Up until now, things have been fine. However, despite informing them multiple times that we're a household of two, with our children well into their forties and living independently, plus all our grandchildren are decked out with their own mobile phones (and certainly wouldn't be caught using our vintage models), we keep receiving a barrage of calls every single day from them. I have zero interest in acquiring more phones, and neither does anyone in my family. Once my contract expires, I'm definitely planning to part ways with 3, demonstrating my dissatisfaction in the most effective manner possible: I absolutely do not wish to be offered any more deals!
