Most of the time, I chose to ignore it, but once or twice when I did pick up, I was met with silence. So frustrating! Then on the 13th of January, they called again, and I finally decided to answer. It was a completely different story this time: - They addressed me by name. - I confirmed my identity. - She claimed to be calling from 3, my mobile provider. - I was a bit sceptical and questioned whether she was genuinely from 3. - She seemed a bit taken aback by my query but insisted she was indeed from the company. - I pointed out that I had clearly indicated in my 3 Marketing Preferences that I wished to opt out of any marketing calls. - She replied that it wasn’t a marketing call but rather a “Sales” call (really?). - Curious, I asked her what the distinction was. - Without missing a beat, she launched into her pitch about getting extra phones for family members. - I had to interrupt her and firmly requested to be taken off both the “Sales” and “Marketing” lists, as well as express my frustration about the incessant calls. - She assured me she would take care of it. I’m still left wondering if they are genuinely affiliated with 3 or just some random outfit with a list of 3 subscribers, but since that chat, I haven’t received any further calls. Hopefully, this sheds some light!

Indeed, I had a rather lengthy conversation with a lady who called me, offering a rather tempting deal on an iPhone 4S for £34 a month over a 24-month term. However, when it came down to the specifics, she conveniently neglected to mention that I’d still be on the hook for my existing Three contract. Naturally, I brought this up with her manager, pointing out that it would be utterly absurd for me to juggle two contracts whilst only making use of one device. His counterargument was that the iPhone 4S is indeed an impressive gadget. I reiterated that financing two phones whilst only utilising one is illogical. His suggestion was to pass the second phone to a family member, but I countered that it would still mean I’m shelling out for someone else’s phone without any benefit for myself.

I must admit, I’m a bit puzzled by this number. A lady called Rebeca gave me a ring, but I can’t say I’m familiar with her at all. It’s all rather baffling, to be honest.

This number keeps ringing me up like 4 times each day but I just ignore it. I'm so fed up with people pestering me, feels like shouting at them to stop wasting so much of my time. There should be some rule against this kind of harassment.

I went ahead and took the call, agreeing to the contract, then I contacted 3 to check everything out, and it seems the account was set up properly. However, what concerns me is that they now possess my card information. If this isn't truly 3, they could easily create an account in my name and misuse my card details.

I find myself in a similar situation, being with 3 as well and getting calls from the number 08003584468. I haven't picked up any of these calls. I've made a conscious choice to steer clear of any calls from unknown numbers or those pesky 800 numbers that are blocked.

i've been getting like 4 calls every day from this number and a couple that look almost the same, all trying to push 3 mobile deals. sometimes it rings forever, other times just a quick few rings. my phone hasn’t been online for a few days now.

As a customer with 3, I find it rather frustrating that this number seems to ring at all hours, including late in the evening and even during the weekends. I attempted to pick up the phone on one occasion, but there was silence on the other end - very peculiar! They don’t leave any messages either, which makes it even more vexing. It's quite bothersome, and I really think that 3 ought to be more protective of our information instead of sharing it with these marketing firms.

By the way, it’s absolutely essential to uncover the identity of the person behind this number. They ought to be held accountable for these bothersome calls, along with the company that’s responsible for them.

I've been bombarded with calls from this number lately. I’m currently on a contract with Three as well. I picked up the phone one time, and a bloke just said "Hello" two times before abruptly cutting the line. Quite bizarre, really!

this lady wanted to join up for a new plan. i asked her if she could hear the dial tone and she said no, so i just ended the call.

When I expressed my scepticism, they insisted they could send a text my way, which they did from 'three' rather than '3', raising all sorts of red flags for me. If it were truly 3, there’s no way they’d be hounding me like this or trying to push a new contract on me when my existing one is still fresh!

They’ve been ringing me no fewer than five times daily, even at a rather late hour like 9 in the evening. We’ve got caller ID, so we’ve been ignoring them, but good grief, these nuisance callers are relentless!

Just to clarify for everyone, the number 0800 358 4468 is associated with network 3 and is, in fact, a marketing call attempting to peddle their products. Best wishes, Jim

i've noticed numbers like 0800 358 4451 and some others that look alike. i'm guessing they all belong to the same company. cheers for sharing who's behind them, i'll keep blocking them out.

its just the 3 mobile sales people again, always ringin me trying to sell more contracts. ive got 4 lines already with them, one for me, one my partner and two for the kids, and now they want me to get a backup number?? seriously??? they call me every few weeks like clockwork. cant they take a hint?

For the past three weeks, we've been receiving daily phone calls from them, but we've consistently ignored each one. We’re with Three, just to clarify.

My partner and I are with Three, and we've been inundated with phone calls from a firm purporting to be affiliated with them. We reached out to Three for clarification, and they assured us that these calls aren't from them at all. They've confirmed it's a scam, advising us not to engage and to go ahead and block the number without hesitation.

We've identified these individuals as they've called us around ten times!

They rang me nightly over the course of a week, but each time I answered, there was no one on the other end. Eventually, I returned the call and opted for option 2. Turns out, it was just a recorded message from 3 Mobile trying to push some offers. Selecting that option finally got me off their call list!

I informed him that I wasn’t available, and he mentioned he’d ring back sometime later. I’m quite tempted to give them a bit of a runaround! By the way, I’m with THREE, and it’s absolutely ridiculous!
