They say they’re Virgin Media but that’s not true. Definitely scammers, no doubt about it.

No idea who this number belongs to but I’ve not picked up since it didn’t look familiar and I’ve blocked it now. They rang me loads, some at silly hours like 7 in the morning and others near 8 at night. Been called over 20 times and the call just shows as blocked but rings once. I thought being signed up to the telephone preference service would stop this sort of thing but with so many folks complaining, it seems nothing’s changed. It really feels like a violation of people’s privacy.

Got a call on 19/12/19 from 08001836401, didnt have a clue who it was so i just left it. No idea how they got hold of my number, its really worrying. This kind of thing should be stopped, feels like harassment and a proper breach of privacy to me.

This number kept ringing me all day, seven times in total. Four calls just said Virgin, and three mentioned Virgin Active, which I've never come across before. I haven't blocked it because I like to keep track of any calls from numbers not saved in my phone.

Got a call from Scottish Power, and a different number too. I filled in a form on their site but made sure to say I didn’t want to be contacted. Yet, they took all my details anyway. Just blocked them both now, much better not getting any calls at all. Ha!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, then they passed me to their complaints team. Turns out the complaints people said the original caller wasn’t from Virgin at all and it was a scam. Told them to delete my details, but the calls keep coming anyway.
