I got an email about a prime subscription too, freaked me out at first since I just ordered something from Amazon. I double-checked my Amazon subscriptions to be safe, then went ahead and deleted the message and blocked the sender.

Got a dodgy email saying I’d just renewed my Amazon Prime subscription, which I hadn’t. Then they left a customer service number that looked totally fake and unprofessional - easy to spot as a scam. The sender’s email address was something like 94671077@first[###]. When I looked up the domain 'first[###],' it turned out to be tied to a bizarre Chinese website with pictures of raccoons and women covering their faces, claiming they're after venture capital. Weird but a definite red flag. As others have said, it’s probably a serious identity theft attempt. Stay alert!

Got a dodgy email supposedly from Amazon saying my subscription of £179 is up for automatic renewal. It’s definitely phishing - don’t open any links or buttons. Just bin it straight away.

Got an email saying I had to respond about my Amazon Prime account - total scam! Really dodgy stuff. It even said something about allowing Amazon to use cookies if I clicked any links or enabled images. The email looked like it came from a “customer help centre” and mentioned a subscription for one year at nearly £179. It warned the membership would auto-renew unless cancelled a day before it ends. Definitely a phishing attempt, watch out!

Be careful not to share any personal info with them, they kept pushing for all my details which felt really dodgy. When I tried asking more stuff, they just hung up on me. I also got an email from them saying "barclay card" instead of "Barclays," so it’s definitely suspicious.

Got a dodgy call that claimed to be from Barclaycard, but the number was off by just one digit. They even had the real Barclaycard automated message playing, trying to trick me into giving my card details. Proper scary stuff! Definitely steer clear of this.

I recently received a dodgy email linked to this number, claiming to be from Amazon. It was trying to trick me into renewing my Amazon Prime account, insisting I should click a link to stop the process. The email appeared to be from [email protected], but I discovered it actually originated from [email protected]. Quite a sneaky scam, if you ask me!

I’ve received an email that claims to be from Amazon, presenting a so-called customer service number. However, I’m quite sceptical about its authenticity. I won’t be calling that number to verify!
