Today, I received a rather odd message claiming to be from 'Barclays'. It struck me as particularly peculiar given that I had just lodged a complaint with Barclaycard regarding the abrupt cancellation of my direct debit - and without any prior notice, mind you! I can’t shake the feeling that there’s a connection here!

Beware, this is definitely a scam! I strongly advise against responding or even acknowledging any text from this number. It has absolutely no connection to Barclay's card. Stay safe!

I've had a rather overwhelming day, receiving no less than twelve messages claiming to confirm that my account's been put on hold and whatnot. Curiously, they had also reached out earlier, boasting that their systems were back up and operational. They express gratitude for my patience, but honestly, it feels more like a ploy. Definitely steer clear of this - it's nothing short of a scam!

Today, I received a rather suspicious message purportedly from Barclays. It read, "I’m happy to inform you that your account has been suspended, as per our conversation. Kindly reach out for further details at 08001615198 before the agreed deadline." However, given that I don't even bank with Barclays, this has got to be a phishing attempt!

I received a message quite like that earlier today. They reached out to me on a different number as well, trying to verify three payments with a simple yes or no answer. The thing is, none of it pertains to me as I don’t even possess a Barclaycard! Is there any way to put a stop to this nonsense?

Today, I got a message from Barclays saying they’ve put my account on hold, just as we talked about earlier. They’ve asked me to give them a ring at 08001615198 with the updates we settled on, by the deadline we agreed upon.
