Just got a call from this number saying they were from Barclays. They told me to open my banking app and click on some notification supposedly sent to me. Thing is, I never got any notification, so I wouldn't have clicked it anyway. They never asked any security questions either, which made me really doubt them. After about a minute, I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. It seemed fishy from the start, asking me to tap on a notification out of the blue. Definitely recommend blocking this caller and reporting it right away to Barclays!

This number keeps ringing me loads and everytime I answer, it's just a quick hang up. Today, I actually spoke to someone, bloke with a really strong accent, maybe African, and he was struggling to say anything clearly. When I asked who he was, he just hung up on me. Feels like these calls are more like harassment, since they come so often.

Got a call from this number, i told them i wouldnt give any info until i confirmed with Barclaycard myself. I used the app to call Barclaycard direct so i knew it was legit. When i asked the guy to double check the number for me, he said it’s safe. Turns out it really is from Barclaycard. He even gave me a different number to ring if needed. This 03332027412 is a proper Barclaycard contact number.
