10 yearsThis particular number has been incessantly pestering us. It drove me to a point where I finally got through to a person who promised to remove our details from their records. Did they follow through? Absolutely not! It’s incredibly tiresome and has driven my wife and I to our wits' end. I just rang them yet again, and surprise, surprise, they claimed they’d take us off their list once more, which I reluctantly agreed to. I made sure to express that I was being civil, stressing that it wasn’t her personal fault. Still, I warned the operator that if we find ourselves in this situation again, my politeness might just wear thin!10 yearsI received a call where I had to repeat my greeting three times before they connected. The gentleman on the other end mentioned something about a roofing firm in the area. He inquired about the age of my roof, and I informed him it was over three decades old. He then suggested that they could provide me with a quote for a new roof. I explained that my roof was in good condition and that I'm neither on benefits nor in financial hardship regarding roof repairs. He insisted it could be as affordable as £2 daily. I clarified that my roof only required some minor repairs - just a bit of re-pointing on the ridge tiles and a single tile that had come loose; otherwise, it was perfectly fine. When I mentioned it was a tiled roof, he surprisingly knew my address, which is 10 Troutbeck Avenue. Since they mispronounced my name, I haven't pursued contacting them.
