Got a bogus O2 bill saying I owed money, sent to an address I used to live at. I’ve never had an O2 account, and the number they gave isn’t legit O2. The letter looked pretty real though, so I guess it could trick some people. Rang O2 to let them know. Looks like these scammers not only trick people into thinking they owe money but might also be getting phones from O2 and scamming bank info too. Totally ruined my Saturday. Proper lowlife stuff.

I've received a few calls from this number, and each time they ask for me by name. They say something along the lines of, "If this is you, please press 1." However, there's absolutely no context about who they are or why they're calling. Naturally, I didn’t engage by pressing the number. This was definitely O2, they sent me a text from their real number with this same number listed to ring for payments. It’s not a scam or phishing attempt. Also, it appeared as O2 on my bank statement so I’m certain it’s legit.

This number kept phoning my O2 line loads of times! On the 21st around 17:32, 17:36 and 18:30, then again on the 22nd at 16:09, 16:26 and 16:41. I’ve got a blocker on my phone that stops any calls from numbers not in my contacts cos I’ve had loads of scams before, so my phone never even rang and my voicemail’s off so they couldn’t leave a message. I did have a small outstanding bill but it was all sorted before these calls started, so I kinda doubt it’s really O2 calling.

I just got a call from this number and it felt really odd. I've been with O2 for around five years and never had a call like this before. Plus, my payments are all sorted. When I picked up, it said something like “press 1 if you are?” then mentioned someone’s name but in a low, creepy voice. After that, it said “press 2 to continue.” I just hung up and didn’t bother replying, but it definitely seemed strange.

Got a call from O2 about a missed payment, not a scam or anything dodgy. You can sort it out right then on the phone and they send a text confirmation afterwards. This has happened to me a couple of times when my direct debit wouldn't go through. Just happened again today and I paid up, got my text proof as usual. Totally genuine.
