Today, our girlfriend received a peculiar call from this company, supposedly trying to peddle a loan aimed at consolidating debts. Quite amusingly, she had recently been turned down for an online application, even though she hadn't actually requested a loan in the first place! After politely declining their sales pitch, they assured her that they would remove her from their contact list. Problem sorted, I suppose! 😄
