I've been receiving persistent calls from someone threatening legal action regarding my email address for supposedly sending improper spam, but I haven't actually used that account in ages!

I’ve received a rather dodgy phone call today, claiming that my AOL account has been compromised and is sending out nasty emails or some such nonsense. The chap on the other end of the line even provided his name and an extension number, pushing me to ring him straight away, or else my AOL account would be shut down. Quite the scare tactic, wasn’t it?

It’s quite amusing, really-you're urging us to document these bothersome calls and promising to help track them down, yet it seems you’re merely focused on promoting your services without delivering any real solutions. Who exactly do you think you are?

I received a call from someone who claimed that my email would be shut down if I didn’t permit them to access my account. They expressed a desire to remotely log into my computer. I swiftly ended the conversation.
