If you're in the mood for a bit of mischief or retribution, give this number a ring non-stop throughout the day and unleash your antics; they’ll be obliged to pick up and won't have a clue who's calling for at least a minute. LOWLIFES!!

I've just had my second message from these folks purporting to be Santander. The details they provide are nothing like what you'd expect from the bank in situations like this, so it's clearly a dodgy operation.

Received a rather suspicious text purportedly from Santander, which appeared legitimate alongside previous messages I've received. It claimed that a Standing Order for £1976 had been established for Khan Gas and instructed me to call a number. Naturally, I did a quick search online and discovered it’s a scam. I’ve also checked my bank account, and no such transaction has been initiated. They can certainly try, but there's no way I'd let them get their hands on my money!

Received an email today with this number to ring, like others have mentioned. It's all about some nonsense regarding a halted Paypal payment from a chap named Sanchez-blah, blah, blah. Clearly a scam, so I really hope no one gets tricked by it!

I've received dodgy emails that appear to come from PayPal, requesting money transfers. If you happen to ring the number, they could infiltrate your devices - whether it's your mobile, tablet, or computer. Best advice? STEER CLEAR! DO NOT ENGAGE! Just block that number! In my experience, I resorted to some blunt language to see how they would react, and, believe me, they descended into name-calling of the most vile nature, even suggesting I do unspeakable things with family members. No legitimate customer support representative would stoop to such a level, especially not if they were truly representing PayPal.

Got three calls back to back, all from different numbers but sounded like the same sort of Indian accent. I just ended the call before he could finish speaking.

I received several calls from this number, but I opted not to pick up. It rang three or four times in one day and continued again at about six the following morning. On 1st December 2022, I received a message from PayPal asking for £599.99. I had no knowledge of the sender and hadn’t made any such purchases. Upon investigating, I found this number attached to the payment, so I promptly cancelled it and informed PayPal of the situation. Just five minutes later, I received a call from 07861647168, which I didn’t recognise, so I let it go to voicemail. When I listened to the message, it was a garbled, robotic voice stating, “Press 1 to get in touch with us regarding unpaid taxes-IT’S A SCAM!” followed by, “It’s illegal to neglect your tax duties-ANOTHER SCAM!” I immediately blocked and reported that mobile number. A quick search online revealed that the number 0800 058 4870 had been flagged as suspicious, while 078616 47168 had not yet been reported. Please steer clear of both numbers and report any suspicious activity; it’s undoubtedly a scam!

Without a doubt, this is a dodgy call centre. I got an email purportedly from Paypal, claiming there was a pending transaction. My Paypal account displayed a request for payment too. Upon ringing the number, they appeared to have my personal information but then started asking for my credit card details. It didn’t take long to figure out it was a con. I reached out to the genuine Paypal, and they verified it was indeed a scam.

A mate of mine received a message from PayPal, and I can say without a doubt it was a complete scam.

I received a call from a number linked to an email I received from PayPal.co.uk regarding a pending payment of £698. The person on the line didn’t speak English very well and was quite forceful, insisting I provide my credit card and security information. In a moment of confusion, I even revealed my mum’s maiden name! When he prodded for my debit card details, I almost complied but then thought, hold on a tick! It was quite the scare, and thankfully, that made me hang up! I shudder to think how they could have cleaned me out!
