Beware of bank fraudsters! I received a call asserting they noticed some dodgy transactions on my account. They even had the last four digits of my card, my mobile number, and my account balance, which made it sound credible. Don't be fooled! It's all a scam! Just hang up and notify your bank immediately.

I received a phone call from this number as a follow-up after an earlier communication from 0800 368 3181. The callers asserted they were representatives of my bank in the UK. It all kicked off with an email indicating that my TV licence payment had allegedly failed, trying to lure me into filling out a 'new direct debit form.' A chap with a Scottish accent, who went by the name of David Grey, rang me from this number, while his partner in crime, Vikram - who had a noticeable Indian accent - previously called me from the other line. They insisted that my debit card information had been compromised by fraudsters. However, my bank assured me that it was indeed a scam call. They are alarmingly persuasive, so do take caution.

I suspect this might be a scam involving PayPal. It's rather alarming. The email appears to be quite authentic. Even when I took a look at the contact details, it seems to point to a legitimate PayPal address.

Be cautious! This phone number is a fraud posing as PayPal. You'll likely encounter it in emails purporting to be from PayPal, accentuating money requests that you've likely never heard of. If you mistakenly believe it's a legitimate PayPal contact, you might be tempted to ring them up to dispute these dubious payment requests. However, it's all a ruse aimed at gaining access to your PayPal credentials and credit card information to clear these unauthorised demands. Stay vigilant...
Refrain from calling the number, and make sure to update your PayPal password immediately!
