This number has buzzed me like 15 times over the past week and a half. I just don’t pick up 0800 numbers, especially when they never bother to leave a voicemail. Looking at other folks’ comments, it might be from Sky since I ended my contract with them, but I’m actually moving abroad soon, so it’s a bit weird they’re still ringing me. No clue what they want!

I contacted Sky to check if the number was really theirs, and they confirmed it’s one of their marketing lines. Don't be fooled, this isn't actually a Sky engineer trying to book a visit. They usually ring from mobile numbers for that sort of thing.

I just phoned Sky because nobody had ever called me from this number before. The person was on the line for about 45 seconds, and when I told them everything was fine, they still kept talking. Honestly, it felt a bit sketchy to me.

It's become a daily nuisance for me too. Each day, without fail, my phone rings with no one on the other end. To add to the oddity, I even stumbled upon a recording of my own voice during one of these calls yesterday. Quite unsettling, really!

That call was really odd. I had to say “hello” twice before a bloke finally spoke up asking for someone. When I told him he’d got the wrong number, there was this long silence on the line, and then after a bit, they finally answered again, so I just decided to hang up.

Got a call at 5.26pm yesterday. We use a BT call guard thingy that makes callers say their name first else it doesn't ring. This time, no one said anything, so the phone never actually rang. Since we’re with Sky, I’m holding off on blocking it for now.

My grandson who's just 4 answered the phone and the person on the line started shouting at him! I quickly grabbed the phone and pretended to be from Sky, saying they'd only talk to the account holder. My wife's not here at the moment, so I’m not entirely sure if it was a scam or a legit call. I’d say it's best to be cautious with calls like that.

So, I got a call this Sunday from someone claiming to be Sky about an engineer visit, which is weird because I don’t even have a landline or TV with them. I keep getting calls from this number quite a few times during the past week. Twice I picked up but the line just went dead. Today (23/4/2017), it called me twice again. I let the first one ring out, and when I answered the second there was no one on the other end. Not sure who it is or what they want.

I got a call from this number today, bit weird since it's Sunday. The lady said she was calling from Sky and wanted me to verify my bank info. I refused because I wasn’t sure it was legit. She sounded really annoyed and then just cut me off. I then contacted Sky myself and they said the number’s not connected to them at all. If it calls again, best to just ignore it.

So, my phone line wasn’t working, and I got in touch with SKY to book a BT Openreach engineer to sort it out. Then SKY rang me back on this number to let me know the engineer had sorted everything and that the fault was all fixed now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky. First, an automated message said they'd ring before 1pm to book an engineer. When they called properly, they quickly asked for my personal info. I asked them to prove they were actually from Sky by giving me something only Sky would know about me, but they couldn’t and said they couldn’t share personal stuff either. Definite scam trying to get your info, probably aiming for bank details too. Really slick, and if I was a Sky customer, I might’ve fallen for it!
