Got a call from this number just now. Could hear loads of noise in the background, like they were hanging out in someone's lounge or summat. As soon as I picked up, they cut the call. Seems pretty sketchy to me. I've blocked it already.

Got a call from Sonex saying they were collecting £800 for an “outstanding bill” from Eon Next, even tho I’ve got £280 credit with them. They wouldn’t say where this amount came from or even confirm my address. Kept pestering me to pay up right away. Told them to check with Eon themselves but they said they couldn’t. Seemed legit at first, but the constant pressure for cash without any proper info made me suspicious. Ended the call asking them to send proof in writing, then they asked for my address. Be careful with these lot.

dont bother talking to these lot, they just wanna squeeze cash outta you. anyone who thinks straight (not many nowadays) knows there’s no real money behind it. we’re all stuck in debt, but somehow we let these dodgy folks run the whole system without even asking why.

somebody said i owe more than £1000 to my energy company but the dwp pay them directly from my benefits before i even get paid, so i really don’t know whats happening here?

this number is legit. it's sonex financial, they sent me a text and letter before they phoned me, which seemed proper. they work for npower, and i actually rang npower first to check on sonex financial and was told they're genuine. doesnt look like a shady outfit, so i'd say you can trust they are who they claim to be.
