When he said he couldn’t pay, they dropped it down to £150. He hung up quick after realising it was dodgy - never thought these scams were real until now. He ran Spybot and thankfully, everything seems alright now. The dodgy number that called was 08000291874. I freaked out and called it, only to find out pretty quickly it was a scam. I hung up straight away, but they called me back and I just ignored it.
