Just got a text off 07860 039045 asking if I got their last message. I looked it up online and decided not to reply. I put up a Gumtree ad yesterday, so I’m guessing that’s where they grabbed my number from. C.

Got a random text from "kraftervideoinc[###]" on this line, and annoyingly, there’s no way to unsubscribe.

I got a message from this number saying they were calling from Ralph Coleman Cycles in Taunton, Somerset or something like that.

So I got this text from some number called 1650bullet saying I had a message about an item from eBay. Thing is, I’m not selling anything there right now. I even logged into my eBay account to see if there was a message but there wasn’t a single thing. Be careful and don’t go clicking on that link!

Back in November 2016, I got a message from this exact number. I reckon they must've found my digits through Gumtree or something.

This is definitely a scam. The link takes you to a bogus eBay login site hosted on a server from some tech college in Western Australia. Once you type in your info, they steal your eBay login details. Basically, it’s a phishing trick to nick your account. Be careful and don’t put your details there!

Like a few others here, I got a text saying I'd got a message from an Ebay seller called 1650bullet. I didn’t bother clicking the link since I’ve never actually received messages from Ebay before, and if someone wanted to contact me, surely it’d be through their usual system. I did put my number on Gumtree recently, but only because their own messaging system is pretty rubbish. Feels a bit sketchy to me.

I got a text saying I had a new message from some ebay seller called 1650bullet, but I never actually got a call. I didn't dare click on the link though. I tried searching for that seller on ebay myself but couldn't find anything. Pretty weird if you ask me.

Just got a text from a random number saying I'd got a message on eBay. I replied once then blocked them right away. Didn’t click on any links or anything. The weird thing is it came just after I posted my phone number on some stuff on Gumtree. Definitely not doing that again!

I never got any message from ebay, but these people claimed I did. Definitely steer clear of clicking on that link.

This number sent me a text claiming there was a message on my eBay account, asking me to follow a dodgy link to read it. I checked my eBay and found nothing, which seemed kinda fishy to me. Could very well be a scam.
