This person or group has held onto this number for ages. The amount of scams nowadays is unreal. They sent me a message claiming they'd been trying to reach me last week about rent arrears and told me to reply and they’d ring back. They did get the right housing association, which made me think. After a bit of digging in my mind, I recalled being on a mutual exchange through the property pool. Looks like they grabbed my contact from there and just guessed the rest. Shame, but they’re gonna have to come up with something better than that.

On 21/9/18, I got a text sayin 'URGENT get your book published.' Total scam! They try to get you to log into this dodgy site that's full of spyware and viruses. Definitely a phishing trick, stay clear!

Put my place up for rent on Gumtree and got this message from someone called Richard. They asked if I’d be open to letting it out to a company for 5 to 7 years, with guaranteed rent and maintenance taken care of. Didn’t mention which company though, so I’m not bothering to reply.

Lol, just got a message from that very number pitching some "can’t miss" investment chance with sure fire returns. The weird bit? No mention of the company behind it and the number doesn’t show up on the PSA's list at all. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

Just got a message about this Craven parking thing and honestly, it sounds dodgy to me. Why wouldn't the council send any official letters through the post? Plus, from what I know, they haven't even finalised the whole parking plan yet, and the message doesn’t even say exactly where it’s meant to be. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I received a message merely two hours after I listed my property on Gumtree. The sender proposed to purchase it and finish the transaction within 28 days. Apparently, a special app on their phone identified the "familiar" number. I've now found out that this number has been flagged for involvement in hacking Gumtree accounts!
