Watch out, that number is definitely a scam! There was a message sent to me pretending it was a survey about my recent trip to the A&E at Royal Berkshire Hospital, but I’ve never even been there. Don’t click on any links - just block and erase it straight away.

I received a text from this number claiming to be regarding a "recent appointment with the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust." The thing is, I've not had any appointments with them at all! A quick search of the number confirmed my suspicions-it’s definitely a scam. I’ve swiftly removed the message from my phone.

got a text saying 'how did your last visit to the royal berkshire foundation trust go? please follow the link to fill in a quick, anonymous survey: www.oc-meridian.com/ocq/u/rbft130.if you want to stop getting these messages reply with "opt out" and it'll be sorted in two working days. this is an automated message so no one checks replies'. problem is, i’ve not had any hospital visits this year, so definitely feels like a scam to me.

I came across a listing for a Swift Challenger 480 caravan on 'Caravans For Sale', priced at a rather enticing £4,495 for a 2010 model. It felt a bit too good to be genuine, if I’m honest. I’ve had a rather dodgy experience with someone claiming to sell a transit van on eBay back on 17th January 2016 for the sum of £3,000. The whole affair reeked of something fishy, and as it turned out, I wasn’t mistaken! It was a 2011 Ford Transit with just 77,000 miles on the clock. The chap insisted on taking payment through PayPal before I could pick up the van. Once I began to uncover the truth, he swiftly yanked his ad from eBay. Just a friendly heads-up to everyone-stay vigilant!

I received an offer for a motorhome on Gumtree, and it all seemed very genuine at first, complete with a convincing PayPal invoice. However, they then requested that I make the payment via a bank transfer to a TBS account, which raised my suspicions. I've notified both Gumtree and PayPal about this potential scam.

Hello there! I received a rather suspicious text from this number after I advertised my car on Gumtree. The sender requested that I email his brother, providing details like the VIN, as well as the MOT and tax expiry dates, claiming he had cash ready to go. It all felt rather suspect, so I did a bit of digging online and it turns out many others have received similar messages. Definitely seems to be a scam; best to steer clear of this one!
