I received a legitimate call from TSB, where they alerted me regarding some transactions on my account. It seems like someone is purchasing items online without my knowledge.

It said it was from TSB but for sure a scam, they tried getting me to confirm a purchase that they themselves did.

This time it was a real message from TSB, but I still didnt reply straight away; I rang up TSB to let them know about suspicious activity, turns out someone tried to use my card without permission.

I received a message from this number purporting to be from TSB. Curious, I reached out to the bank directly, only to find out that they had no association whatsoever with it. Definitely a SCAM!

Got a text from TSB saying I’d get msgs from this number. I got messages asking if it was me doing a transaction, to reply yes or no. I rang my bank's fraud team and they confirmed it was legit, saying they do this when they spot lots of transactions happening. I had to text YES to carry on with the transaction. DEFINITELY call your bank if you’re unsure about anything.

I got a text from HSBC saying there was an online purchase on my account. Was a bit iffy about it so I rang HSBC myself and they told me it was legit and okay to respond.

Actually a real call from TSB about a suspicious payment, they even sent me a text from a different TSB number I recognise saying I should expect a message from the number that called me, and I double checked by ringing the number on the back of my card.

Got two texts mentioning the last 4 digits of my debit card, saying money had been taken from my TSB account and to reply yes or no if I knew about it, from Cscidate[###]. Didn’t recognise the charge, so rang TSB who said it was a scam. Looked up the site and Cscidate[###] is just a domain for sale. If you get this message, don’t reply - just get in touch with TSB straight away.

My partner got a couple of texts from this number saying there was a dodgy card payment that needed checking. She didn’t trust it and just ignored them, then rang the TSB helpline. Turns out it was real and her card had been cloned. It’s alright to reply, but if you’re not sure, better call your bank direct. Just don’t brush it off!

SCAM ALERT. I received a message supposedly from TSB, couldnt reply but it said they’d send more messages from the same number about a transaction. They mentioned my card ending in #### (which is actually mine) had been used in a strange place and they wanted to confirm. They asked me to reply yes or no, which I didn’t. Checked my account and everything was normal. Then I got a call from 0345 3561034 saying the same story. They even had my real name.

Definitely not a scam!! Ring up your bank straight away if you get a message like this. We had one and called the bank to verify it, and they actually stopped someone who had cloned our card - they saved us more than £1,200. The bank will always mention either your name or the last 4 digits of your card. If those numbers match, get in touch with them quick. There’s way too many dodgy people out there trying to nick cash from folks who work hard.

TOTAL SCAM. Got a text saying it was from Lloyds Tsb but I dont even have an account with them. My girlfriend got a message from the exact same number saying it was Nationwide. Definitely dodgy.
