Back in December 2018 I got the first couple of texts, and they've been coming about twice every month since then. They keep saying something about testing stuff and keeping it - sometimes it’s TVs, other times vacuums. It’s honestly quite irritating.

Every week I get a couple of messages offering free stuff if I just test it and give a review. I’ve never replied to them or even bothered clicking on any links!

What does 'Jap Sigh' even mean? Never heard of that before.

Since mid October 2017, I've had this number send me texts pretty much every week. What's worse, it's impossible to block it. Tried ringing them back on an old PAYG phone but the call just wouldn't go through. Loads of others seem to be getting it too. To top it off, they always call me "Mick," which isn’t my name at all - super annoying!

Keep getting these random texts about trying free stuff for Steve, but who even is Steve? And why won’t these annoying messages just quit?

This number's been texting me like crazy, about some PPI claim I never made! Five messages so far asking me to sign something. Totally annoying and out of the blue.

I got a call from some group named Claimhunters about PPI stuff. They gave me a website link, www.my05.uk/M3bl31xi, but I’m a bit iffy about it. Anyone else heard of them?

Got a text today from TestersKeep with some link and a number to reply STOP to. No way am I clicking or replying to it. Might give 7762 a go tho. Can't work out how to forward the message anywhere. Already blocked the sender. Also using 02 here.

i always say, if it sounds too good to be real, thats probably why. total SCAM.

I usually get about three or four calls a week from them, something like “Hello Gill, keep this if you want...” or something along those lines. Tried everything to stop them but no luck so far.

Just like me, have a laugh and mumble to yourself “screw you Tony”

Does anyone know what the number 7726 is that people keep telling us to report texts to? I got a message back from them and they use 'u' instead of 'you' in their reply - bit unprofessional if you ask me! I'm hoping it's not a scam though!

I rang the network and they took off the premium numbers.

If you’re fed up with those texts costing you money, get in touch with your mobile provider. They should be able to block premium numbers so they can’t bill you anymore.

From: TestersKeep; Message: "Hey Sophie, you can now apply to be a product tester for a Panasonic 50" 4K TV. Click here (link) to sign up or reply STOP to 07860020472". Total scam! I'm definitely not Sophie! Also, I can't block it since it's not showing as a real phone number.

Testers wont stop messaging me, ive reported it to 7726 already.

I'm with o2 and never got any dodgy messages until I started using their priority app to enter competitions for stuff like gaming consoles, speakers and TVs. Now I've gotten the same text about testing a 55 inch Sony Bravia TV. I'm pretty sure it's o2 leaking my info, how else would they run these giveaways for free? Proper annoying, those o2 lot.

These creeps keep texting me non stop. Total scam. I'm too scared to text STOP back coz what if it tips off hackers or something like that?

Just forward the message to 7726 from your phone - they’ll look into it. The more folks who do it, the better chance they’ll actually do something. It’s so irritating.

I've been getting a couple of texts from them, and when I tried to call the number to STOP the messages, it didn’t recognise my request at all - which has to be against the law surely! Plus, the website they claim to have just doesn’t seem to exist. I’m worried they might be billing me monthly for these messages, because I’ve heard of others who ended up with massive 3rd party charges. I’m currently stuck in a battle with Three Mobile over a huge bill caused by this, and honestly, they’re not helping one bit. I’m even looking at getting out of the contract now. Changing my phone number seems like the only way to stop these annoying charges, which is such a hassle. I wish the government would step in - this issue is so much worse than junk mail since they’re actually making you pay for it, unlike rubbish you can just toss out. From what I’ve read, third party nuisance texts are a big problem across the UK - is anyone actually doing anything about it?

This number just messaged me offering a free TV if I tried it out and then kept it. After reading the reviews here, I decided to delete the message straight away.

I keep getting messages from "TestersKeep" offering free phones to review and keep. Each time, it says to reply STOP to 07860020472, so I gave the number a ring and was told the number DOESN'T EXIST?! How are we supposed to stop these scammers? Is it alright to text them back? I've tried to block them but my phone won’t allow since it just shows as "TestersKeep". BE WARNED, AVOID THIS!

Got a message today about winning a free Samsung 55" TV, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam, so I’m not even going to reply with "stop" or anything. Just wanna warn everyone to stay sharp and avoid falling for these kind of tricks.

Got loads of calls from spammers, the caller ID just says testerkeep, no actual number shown. Tried blocking the phrases they use, but they keep changing them and still keep calling. So annoying!

Got a text from "TestersKeep" but there's no phone number visible. They called me by a completely different name and said I could test out an iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. I've gotten a few of these kinds of messages before, all with wrong names. Figured this must be the number since Googling "who is Testers Keep" brought me here.

Scammy ppl, just dont bother replying or answering their texts, better to just ignore em.

Got a message from someone calling themselves "testers keepers", saying they wanted me to check out a site where I could try out an iPhone 7 plus and some AirPods. Pretty odd, not sure if it's legit or just a scam.

Got a text from someone saying I could try out a Dyson vacuum cleaner and keep it afterwards. I just ignored it and didn’t respond.

Junk message. I received a text asking if I wanted to 'try & keep' a Dyson hoover - they didn’t show their number but gave this one to 'stop' the texts.

Got a text about trying out ugg boots for the winter. I was a bit iffy because the link they sent was like myofrs{###] or something, looked dodgy to me. Decided to check it online and looks like a scam to me. Better just block that number, I reckon!

Got loads of messages for some 'Leah' about being a tester for Dyson or summat like that. After seeing what others said here, i'm just gonna block the number now.

Got a text asking me by name if I wanted to test a Dyson product and keep it for free. They told me to reply "stop" to the number they sent. I'm not too sure if it's for real or just some kind of scam. Would be great if anyone could shed some light on this. Cheers!

Just like the others, loads of messages saying I could test out a product. This time it’s a Dyson V8 and I get to keep it. Sure thing! Now I’ve blocked the number.

I’m always a bit careful when I get calls from numbers I don’t know, especially since someone once tried to scam me out of money. I’m not really convinced this company is legit, so I’m definitely staying cautious.

Got a text offering me to try out the new Dyson V8 Absolute and keep it at no cost. They said I can reply STOP to the number, but I reckon that might charge me. The link in the message looks dodgy as well.
