I received a text from this number stating that I had an appointment at SCCB which I somehow overlooked on the 7th of November. They’ve asked me to confirm a new appointment for December the 6th, offering times at either 4:30, 5:10 or 5:50. Alternatively, I could simply text 'W' if I don’t wish to proceed with my application.

They messaged saying my app was about to run out and told me to click a link before the weekend. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Just got a text saying they’ve updated their app. They said to make sure my booking’s secure over the weekend, I need to download the latest version. The message included a link: onelink.to/p6r9h8. Not sure if I should trust it though.

Got a text saying I asked about LPA, you know, Lasting Power of Attorney, and mentioned a £99 Black Friday offer. But I never even asked about it. So, I just blocked the number straight away.

I recently received a text that pretends to be from the NHS, suggesting I need to 'renew' my COVID Passport. At first glance, the initial part seemed quite authentic; however, I soon found myself on another page where they requested my complete bank details as a form of identification! It’s curious to note that the phone number given doesn’t accept any incoming calls, and the link in the message is definitely not affiliated with the NHS. What a disgraceful scam!

Got a call claiming it was from the Post Office about a parcel waiting for me at the local branch. I nearly got caught and clicked the link because I did make an order recently. But then I remembered that the package was actually sent directly to my family member from the seller, not to my address. Plus, I never gave my phone number during the order. Felt a bit dodgy, so I didn't fall for it.

Got a text telling me my NortonLifeLock order had been finalised and to call to cancel if I didn’t want it. Thing is, I never ordered anything like that. Very obviously a scam, so I’ve let my phone carrier know about it.

I got a couple of texts today telling me my appointment's been cancelled because of new COVID-19 rules. They said something like, "Owing to updated government Covid guidelines, we can't go ahead with your appointment" and also added "Thanks for bearing with us during this difficult time, we'll reach out to reschedule as soon as we can."

Somebody rang me saying they're from a payroll company called Number Mill. They couldn’t even get my name right and apparently I’m registered with some agency, which I’m not. What’s worse, they kept phoning my son’s phone even though the contract’s in my name. Their explanation was that it’s a typo - seriously, how do you mess up so many details and still match it to my son’s number under my name? Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I’ve got an old backup phone and it keeps getting loads of texts daily, all saying something like "langempire Czech booking". No clue what that’s about. In just three days, I’ve gotten about 20 messages and it’s really starting to annoy me. Whoever’s doing this, honestly, not cool at all!

Got a message about a cash buyer interested in my place. Sounds a bit too good to be true, not sure if I should trust it or just ignore it. Anyone else had something like this pop up? Feels dodgy but could be worth looking into I guess.

I just had a message drop in from this number saying, "Greetings Sir/Madam, your O2 upgrade is still pending. Reply YES and we’ll ring you to sort out a new phone with a cheeky discounted line rental." Well, I’m not even an O2 customer; my provider relies on their network, but it’s clear this isn’t from O2 at all. Total scam! Do yourself a favour and steer clear of any replies or engagement.

Got a text saying "Dear customer your O2 upgrade is available. Reply YES and we'll ring you to sort out a new handset and a cheaper line rent." Thing is, I'm not actually with O2, although my provider uses their network. So yeah, this has got to be a scam, best not to answer or message back.

Said my APPLE ID was locked and nearly got me, but when they wanted my CREDIT CARD details, I just said NO WAY! I gave them some made-up username and password anyway, and they still claimed my account was locked and I had to update my info. Seriously, do not respond or engage with them!

Got a weird text about buying my eBay listing for full price, plus a trade for something they said was on eBay too. They sent a link to that supposed item but it was totally fake, didn’t even show up. Seemed really dodgy to me. I ended up changing my eBay password just to be safe after that.

I keep getting calls from people saying they're interested in buying my house, even though I've never put it on the market. It's strange because I haven't mentioned selling it anywhere, but buyers in my area keep reaching out as if it's up for grabs. Quite confusing but kinda flattering, I suppose!
