This has scam written all over it. How would they possibly know you were close to someone with the Omicron variant? The NHS wouldn’t ask you to order a test kit like that, and who even knows which one they mean - a PCR or a lateral flow? They’d just tell you to take a test and self-isolate if needed. Plus, they’d direct you to check their official site for more details. It’s totally dodgy, don’t trust it.

Got a message supposedly from the NHS saying I've been near someone who tested positive. It told me to get a test from https://testing-kit-home.com but that’s not an official NHS site at all. The English they used was really off too, full of mistakes. Then, a second text came through from 07759129390 with pretty much the same message about the Omicron variant, again telling me to order a test. Both messages had awful spelling and grammar, which definitely makes me doubt they’re from any trustworthy place.
