But when I looked on the official gov.uk site, Track and Trace isn’t even running anymore. So, I sent a report about this number to the UK’s phishing hotline at 7726.

Total scam alert. Woke up to a message at 4am saying I’d been near someone who tested positive for covid. They asked for my details, so I put in Name: Joe Bloggs, Address: Cloud Nine, Emerald City, OZ, Postcode: D13CK, Phone: 99999999. What’s weird is the message never said anything like “invalid info” or anything sketchy 🤷‍♀️. Bit fishy if you ask me!
