Got a call from someone talking about PPI, I told them off and hung up pretty quickly. Since then, I've had loads of calls from various mobile numbers, all with that northern accent. Sometimes it’s PPI, other times they claim it's about HMRC and some refund. Then not long after, I saw a couple of missed calls from a private number - I reckon it was the same lot just hiding their ID this time.

Got a call claiming to be from the ‘government gateway’ saying I had a refund from ‘the hmrc’. They even used my full name and address, which was kinda creepy. When I told the lady it was a scam, she just said ‘oh ok’ and hung up. I’ve reported it straight away to HMRC.
