I got a call from someone claiming my house needed urgent repairs and they wanted to check back in to discuss the damage further. Sounds like a classic housing fix scam to me. Definitely not trusting anyone asking for details or money over the phone without proof.

This number has been bothering me again and again, saying they're from the housing disrepair dept. I get these calls daily, so I just said no thanks this time. The woman on the line asked if I’d put in a repair request that wasn’t done. I told her no and asked her to stop calling me. After that, I blocked the number. Now they’re calling from a private number, which I can’t block at all. They just keep coming through! I’m seriously thinking about reporting this to the cops!
