Like the other comments mention, I got the same automated message with the American accent talking about a lawsuit. It was left on my ex-husband's voicemail - he's passed away not long ago. I’m just relieved he didn’t get this call while he was seriously unwell, that would’ve been terrible. It’s mad that nothing seems to be done legally to put an end to these calls.

Today, my answerphone got three messages, all from the same number. They used that same robotic voice with an American accent, and they even ended with “have a good day” like it’s some kind of polite chat! My grandma got a message from a bloke telling her to ring him back on this number. When she did ring, they told her she was being taken to court and had to pay £300 straight away. They said they’d send someone to the bank to meet her and also wanted her to arrange a £30 a month payment. On top of that, they asked for her driving licence and insurance details. Fortunately, she didn’t give out anything and reported it to the cops. Seriously, don’t share any of your info with these kind of calls!
