When I politely requested that they do so, the caller responded by telling me to shove off-not just once, but three times! Then they abruptly disconnected. To my astonishment, they rang back and hurled some rather unrefined language my way. I've never encountered such rudeness before, and I’ve swiftly added them to my block list. What a shocking experience!

A bloke rang me claiming to be from a company dealing with PPI refunds, saying I’d forked out too much on a loan I’d already settled ages ago. I cut him off mid-sentence to ask what the loan had been for. He mentioned it was for personal matters and then had the cheek to ask me what it was for-asserting it was for security’s sake. I told him I wasn’t keen on chatting any further and promptly ended the call.

Received a call purporting to be from National Refund, and they were firing off a multitude of questions regarding my address, age and income. Naturally, I was rather hesitant to divulge any information, which prompted him to quickly mention that he would 'ring me back' before abruptly ending the call.
