Got a ring from this number saying they were calling on behalf of the Government Grants Department. When I asked which one exactly, they said it was the UK Government Grants Department. That was all I needed to hear, so I just ended the call. Guess we'll see if they bother me again...

I’ve had a couple of calls from this number saying I’m supposed to get some money back from a loan. Thing is, I’ve never even applied for any loan, so there’s no way that’s correct!

Got a call from them and told them to take me off their calling list. Instead of being polite, they told me to f*** off three times before slamming the phone down. Then they called again, just to hurl more abuse like “F*** off, you motherf***er.” Was proper stunned by their rudeness, so blocked the number straight away.

This bloke claimed to be working for some PPI outfit, telling me I'd paid back too much on a loan I’d already finished paying off a while back. I cut him off and asked what the loan was actually for. He just said it was personal stuff and then tried to get me to say what it was so he could “check security.” I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Some bloke rang saying he was with National Refund and started grilling me about where I lived, how old I am, and how much I earn. I wasn’t really up for answering that so he quickly mumbled something about calling me again later and then just ended the call.
