Beware of this scam pretending to be from Royal Mail, they’ve got a convincing but phoney website. The caller, who goes by Jamie, claims to be a hard-working postman delivering mail across the whole UK - quite the job he says! Eventually, they will try to get your bank info to charge a fee for redirecting your mail. Just hang up and block the number, don’t trust it. Royal Mail never contacts you by text about parcels. If a delivery fails, they leave a card so you can sort a redelivery or pick it up yourself from the local depot.

Got a text saying someone called Jamie had attempted to deliver a parcel and to follow a link to reschedule. Since I wasn’t expecting any package, I didn’t bother clicking on the link. The message started with 'PO,' which could easily trick folks into thinking it’s from the Post Office.

I've just received a message from "Jamie" claiming they attempted to drop off my parcel, but it looks like I wasn't home. They've asked me to arrange a new delivery date through a link they provided. I reckon this is a scam. Don’t be tempted to click on that link!

I've received a similar message myself, and I'm based in Nottingham too. Apparently, a certain Jamie attempted to deliver something, but I haven't made any purchases recently. When I clicked to find out more, it prompted me to provide my card information for a supposed re-delivery fee. It's definitely a scam! I'd recommend contacting Royal Mail directly to check if they have anything awaiting your collection.

Got a message from someone called "Jamie" sayin' they couldn't deliver a parcel because "I wasn't home", but I haven’t ordered anything! Of course, there was a link to reschedule the delivery. Got a text from depot27.com saying there’s a parcel waiting for me. Bit fishy if you ask me, didn’t order anything recently. Might be a scam or some dodgy link. Definitely not clicking on it!
