I just received a weird message saying that a guy named Jamie couldn’t deliver my package. Honestly, Jamie must be everywhere at once, haha! Legit courier companies don’t text you from random mobile numbers like that. I’ve got messages like this before claiming to be from ‘Amazon’ or the ‘post office’. Whatever you do, don’t follow any links they send! My cousin once clicked a link from a dodgy Instagram message and her account ended up totally hacked by some bitcoin scam artists. Best to just block and report straight away.

A couple comments down (like 11 or so) there’s info on how you can report scam calls. Honestly, that’s pretty much the only thing that could help end these annoying calls. Most people don’t bother reporting them, so nothing ever changes. The police aren’t really aware of the scale, and the phone companies couldn’t care less unless they’re pressured to take steps.

At 5:20 in the morning, I got a call from someone named Jamie claiming to be from Royal Mail. If you look up the link he sent, it supposedly leads to Royal Mail, but seriously, don’t click on it! This isn’t the first time he’s called that early either. Every time, I was home fast asleep. He didn’t even bother leaving a card through the letterbox. Lucky for him he doesn’t know where I live - if he did and showed up that early again, he’d have a bad day. These scam calls are such a pain, and whoever’s behind them really shouldn’t get away with it.

Got a text from someone named Jamie, number 07529673993, saying they’d tried to drop off a Royal Mail parcel at like 6.28am but no one was home. The message included a link to sort out a redelivery. Then, about an hour later, I got an email straight from Royal Mail saying the parcel would be delivered as planned. Bit odd to get both messages like that!

A bloke rang me earlier, asking for my manager by his first name. He said his own name was Adam Clarke, claiming he was calling from a company called Aiden. But when I tried to get more details and asked for a callback number, he just ended the call straight away. Bit fishy if you ask me.
