Got a call from 07529674140 which took me to a dodgy Royal Mail site asking for my postcode. Think it’s a spoof, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a message claiming to be from the PO, probably trying to pass off as the post office. It says they couldn't get my parcel delivered and tells me to click a link to sort out re-delivery. Problem is, I haven't ordered anything at all.

Got a text from someone called Jamie saying a parcel hadn't been delivered, same as what loads of others have been getting. Honestly, I reckon if everyone just kept texting back and bugging Jamie’s number he might finally give up. It’s the only way we’ll get him to stop, I guess.

Just like the others, I reached the second page but then remembered my parcel was actually coming through Amazon. So I had a look at this site and yeah, definitely a scam.

Got a message sayin’ Jamie was round with a parcel but no one was home to take it, so they want you to book another drop-off at https://local-depot.com. Had a look at the site and it’s made to look like an official Post Office page. They ask for loads of personal stuff, like your full name, date of birth, address, and also ask for your card details to pay a £1.20 fee for redelivery. Feels a bit off to me.

Received a message claiming I've been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19, accompanied by a link to acquire a PCR test. Quite baffling, really, as I've been cooped up indoors for more than a week now, so it doesn’t add up. The link directing me to the PCR test seems a bit dodgy as well.

Just over an hour ago, I got a message here in Reading about a parcel Jamie supposedly tried to deliver. Felt a bit dodgy, so I didn’t bother and just blocked the number straight away. Seems like the same old story others got too.

Got a text saying it was from the PO, which I thought meant Post Office. The link sent looked just like the real Post Office website. It asked me to fill in a form to reschedule a delivery. The message came through at 4:20pm, saying Jamie tried to deliver but no one answered. That seemed strange, as it’s quite late for a delivery and I was definitely in. Plus, I’d expect a message about deliveries to come from Royal Mail, not the Post Office.
