Jamie’s got a crazy amount of deliveries, way more than Santa on Christmas Eve, bless him. Luckily, Santa, with his big white beard and all, is way better at sneaking parcels around than Jamie ever could be. Honestly, though, Father Christmas is a lot more genuine than Jamie seems. Got a dodgy text about Royal Mail trying to redeliver a parcel. Bit daft as our local postie never misses a thing, especially here on the Isle of Skye where it's quite out the way. Thing is, I’m not expecting anything, and my two dogs would have gone mad if anyone came to the door - they’re like the best alarm system ever. Plus, our porch is always left unlocked, all the local couriers know that and usually just pop things inside if I’m not home. New delivery drivers tend to check the door and see it’s open. This isn’t the first time either - before, I had a similar message from someone called Simon about a parcel delivery. Seems like a typical parcel scam to me.

I got a text from this number and decided to ring back after seeing the message. I was a bit worried because I was waiting for a parcel, so I clicked the link. Something didn’t seem right though, so I typed in a random postcode. When it actually found one that matched, I realised it was a scam straight away. The message said: +44 7529 673979. PO: Jamie attempted to deliver your package today but no one was home. Please book a new delivery date here: https://local-depot25[.]com

Got a dodgy text from someone pretending to be the Post Office. Definitely a scam, don’t trust any links they send through! Be careful out there, these scammers are getting clever.

So a police officer called saying they tried to drop off a package but I had to pay like £1.20 online before they could bring it again. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a text from someone called Jamie saying a parcel couldn't be delivered from the Post Office. Totally a scam, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Just received a message from someone called Jamie about a parcel delivery. I reckon it’s some new chap working at the post office round here! Definitely a scam though, and I’ve already told action fraud about it. It’s mad how this Jamie seems to pop up everywhere!

Someone called saying they were from Royal Mail and wanted me to pay so they could deliver a parcel again. Definitely a scam, not legit at all.

Got a text at 7.55am saying “parcel delivery tried but no one there”. Told them I’m gonna post their number all over Gumtree!

Beware! Got a message from PO Jamie saying he tried to leave a parcel for me (they had today highlighted as a clickable link), but apparently no one was home. The message told me to set a new delivery day at this site https//local-depot25.com. Sounds dodgy to me, just block and toss it!
