I almost fell for a dodgy scheme when I clicked on a link and was about to enter my information. Luckily, I decided to search for the official Post Office online, and it didn’t seem to match up at all. Very fishy indeed!

Received a rather dodgy text reading: "NHS-UK: Test & Trace has identified that you've been in contact with an individual who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Kindly arrange a PCR test kit here: ..." Seems pretty fishy to me!

Got a message from 0752967395 around 11.52 pm saying the post office tried to drop off a parcel but no one was home. We called back with our number withheld but no one picked up. Jamie or whoever you are, we've got CCTV and a trained protection dog chilling on the sofa watching telly with us, so unless you fancy a trip to A&E, just leave us alone. Absolute scam this is! Why aren’t the police cracking down on these muppets?

Got a message early this morning at like 4am saying “Jamie attempted to drop off your parcel but no one was home. Please arrange a redelivery here...” It’s obviously a dodgy link, probably packed with malware. I’m not sharing the link cause I don’t want anyone accidentally clicking it. If you get anything like this, just ignore it, no matter what time you get the text. Total scam.

Got a text from 0752967395 around 11:52pm saying the post office tried to drop off a parcel for someone called Jamie but no one was home. We called back with our number blocked but no luck getting through. Just so you know, Jamie, we've got CCTV and a fully trained security dog chilling on the sofa with us, so unless you’re heading to A&E, do us a favour and buzz off. I’ve just had a message pop up claiming that a parcel delivery attempt was made while I was out, and that I need to arrange a new delivery date at https://local-depot27.com. The thing is, I work from home and I have a ring doorbell installed, so I’m fully aware that this is a complete fabrication.

Beware, this one's a dodgy con! I'd recommend blocking this number pronto and giving that link a wide berth. Clicking on it will take you straight to a phishing website (Local-Depot27 or something similar) that will attempt to extract your credit card information under the pretence of a redelivery charge. Don't be taken in by this trickery!

I had a rather dubious phone call from someone named Jamie, insisting that I had a delivery that I’d somehow overlooked! Clearly a fraudulent attempt, especially since I’m not waiting on any parcels and the call came through just after half eleven on a Sunday evening!
