Received a call claiming to be from my service provider, and shockingly, the caller let loose with some profanities before abruptly ending the call. Quite bizarre, really!

So, I called 3 network the other day to try and upgrade my phone but then decided against it once I realised the call was being taken in India. Then, the very next day, I got a ring from 07520652245. A bloke claimed to be from O2 and was trying to get me to upgrade my phone. I told him no, and you could tell he wasn’t too pleased about it. When I tried calling that number back, it didn’t even connect. Seems like a proper scam to me - these guys in India must be sharing info with some dodgy scammers.

Yesterday I tried contacting 3 Network to do an upgrade but changed my mind halfway through, realised the call was being handled by someone in India. Then today, I got a call from 07520652245 and the bloke said he was from O2 telecom trying to push me to upgrade my phone. I told him no and you could tell he wasn’t happy about it. When I tried calling back, the number didn’t work at all. Seems like a scam to me - these teams in India must be sharing info with scammers.

My mobile buzzed a few times then just cut off - sounds about right for those scam or spoof calls. It showed up as ‘unknown caller’ on my screen. I didn't bother ringing back, just went ahead and blocked the number and wiped it from my call history. JP

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, rang me from 07520 652245 and started off polite, calling me Ma'am and asking how I was. I just ended the call straight away. Then, seconds later, my phone buzzed from another number, 07523 739885. It was the same woman! She claimed to be from EE, my network company, saying she could cut my bill by 30%. Told her I wasn’t bothered and put the phone down.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin Media, which I’m already a customer of, offering me a phone upgrade. Thing is, I never even bought my handset from them. I asked what they wanted and they said they needed to confirm my name, address, and how much I pay for Sky. I told them I don’t have Sky at all, and suddenly they switched to asking about my phone bill instead. Then they just hung up, but keep calling back non stop. Really annoying!

I had a rather peculiar encounter with a woman claiming to be from India, supposedly representing EE. She initially boasted about an upgrade, which I declined. To my surprise, she then sweetened the deal with a tempting 20% discount, but I insisted I wasn’t interested. When I labelled her a scammer, she quickly responded with a hasty ‘no no’ before abruptly ending the call. Best to steer clear of this one!

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was ringin' from EE, tryin' to sell me an upgrade. I said no thanks, then she tried to tempt me with a 20% discount. I told her I was onto her scam straight away and she just went "no no" before cutting me off. Proper dodgy.
