Today I got fooled by the same old tale - someone pretending to be a mate of mine in the hospital, begging for a phone card. Total scam!

I’ve seen this number scam folks out of phone vouchers for like over a year now, and it’s crazy that O2 haven’t managed to sort it out yet. How can they just let it carry on?

With a broken wrist and all, you'd think the authorities could at least try to go after these clear scams. Feels like they're just letting it slide, which is pretty frustrating. Is it really too much for them to handle? Seems like they could be doing more to stop this nonsense.

Got a call earlier from some number asking me to top up their phone with a voucher, obviously I didn’t do it. If it’s really O2, why haven’t they blocked the number yet? Seems dodgy to me.

I ended up with a fractured wrist and a broken fibula, and now I’m in desperate need of a £20 phone credit. I was caught off guard because the message started with 'hello, it's Sarah', which made me think it was my niece reaching out to me. How foolish of me!

Got a peculiar text from +447517349519, claiming they've suffered a broken fibula and left wrist, and are asking if I could sort them out with a phone voucher by tomorrow. Quite odd, wouldn't you say? A bit unsettling, really. Cheers, everyone! D

Someone pretended to be a mate, saying they’d hurt their wrist and needed a favour, asking me to message them back. When I did, they asked me to get a phone voucher for them. I then looked up my contacts and saw the number wasn’t my friend’s at all.
