Lately, I've been getting about 5 or 6 calls a day from different numbers all starting with 075. I've been blocking and reporting each one as they come in. Every time they leave a voicemail, but it's in some Asian language, maybe Chinese or Korean? It's really frustrating.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away. The number showing was 07522774507.

My wife gets about 3 calls every day from 075 numbers for ages now. They’re always speaking some foreign language on the other end. After the calls, there’s usually a voice message left. She just hangs up and deletes them but they never stop ringing.

I got tricked by the number +447541245288, ended up losing quite a bit of cash to this scammer in early August 2023. Proper annoyed about it.

Got a call from 0756338108, with a faint American voice telling me HMRC was looking into me for tax evasion and tax fraud. They said an arrest warrant was out against me and if I wanted to stop the legal stuff, I had to ring back that number. Sounded fishy to me.

Got a call from 07540115709 claiming to be the inland revenue but seemed totally bogus. Definitely a scam, so beware!

Got a voicemail from 07552366989 claiming to be from Amazon about an order I don't know anything about. They were asking me to reply or something. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I reckon Amazon must've let my number slip somewhere, 'cause first I get a dodgy Amazon scam call on my home phone. Then the very next day, I call Amazon back and next thing I know, my mobile's blowing up with calls from Mandarin-speaking people. Probably from the same lot. Lesson learned, never used my mobile to ring Amazon again. Honestly, these China calls just won’t stop - proper annoying. China, seriously, buzz off!

My daughter got a missed call from this number recently. She's rung back a few times over the past couple of days but never got through. She also sent a text but didn’t hear anything back. Then, when he called her with a private number, they had a chat and he explained that he’d changed his number online. Since then, apparently, he’s been getting flooded with like 400 calls and a bunch of texts in just one day. Sounds like his number might have been cloned, and he’s trying to fix the mess.
