Got a call on my work phone from 07470482209, they said we'd been trying to reach them and had 'located' them. They pushed hard for my personal info like name, address, even card details, speaking in some dodgy fake accent. When I refused and said it wasn't their business, they suddenly got angry and dropped the accent. Ended up having to block them to stop any more calls.

Received a call from 07466334418, but since I don’t know anyone with numbers starting 074 I’ve just added that code to my blocklist. If you use a call blocker, it’s a good idea to include 074 as well. These calls might be attempts to phish for account details and there's been reports of them trying to get credit card info using 074 numbers. Also, watch out for calls from 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 019, 020, 075, 077, 078, 079 - loads of them appear to be scams.

This number +44 7426435542 kept ringing up the company claiming there’s a problem with our Uber equipment. They wanted to get into the admin email, but when it asked for a 6-digit code to reset password, that’s when I knew something was off. Looks like they've been pestering the business for ages, trying to hack into email accounts. Proper annoying!

Got a call from a 074 number claiming there was some issue with an Amazon payment. When I asked which credit card they meant, they just hung up straight away. Didn’t give them any info, obviously. If you get dodgy calls like that, just end the call asap. Try 1471 to find out the last number that called, and if it begins with 074, it’s most likely a scam. Best thing is to block that number right away.

Someone from an 074 number called me, it was a man with an Asian accent claiming I signed up for something with his company, though I can't recall any of it. I told him I never did and wasn’t interested then hung up. Since then, I get about half a dozen calls daily from different 074 numbers. I keep blocking them but new ones keep popping up. When I do pick up, there's just silence. This has been happening for two weeks now and it’s really annoying. I’m about to ask my mobile provider to stop all calls from 074 numbers on my phone.

Got a call from 07441579689, the guy was talking in Russian claiming to be the police. Bit odd since UK cops don’t usually speak Russian, right? He said someone’s trying to get £5000 credit from your Lloyds bank account in your name. Told me not to say a word to anyone in the family, said it could mess up the situation. Then the very next day, I got another call but from a different number. It’s just another dodgy scam to watch out for!

Every week, I keep receiving calls from various 074 numbers around the same time. I block them all, one by one. They always leave voicemails that sound like some kind of Chinese language mixed with dodgy English about parcels! Really suspicious.

07443269945 called me on Monday, 1st May 2023. The caller claimed to be from Microsoft, speaking with an American accent, and said there had been odd activity on my computer over the past fortnight. He almost had my surname right, just one letter off. Oddly, he already knew my full name and address, though I never confirmed any of that. When he asked if I was the main user of the computer, I said no and ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 07474 118451 at about 8:40 this morning. Didn't pick up since the number was unfamiliar, so have no clue who it was. If it was something important, I’m sure they’d have left a voicemail, but nope, nothing. So it’s probably just another cold caller, scam, or some unwanted bother. Honestly, I think this kind of constant pestering is just not on.

7.4.23 - 07455 569051 I noticed a missed call from this number and decided to ring back, assuming it might be a mate. I’ve got a simple phone, just for chatting and texting friends, no internet banking or anything like that. When I called back, there was an answering message from a woman saying, "you know what to do darling". I didn’t respond or speak at all.

Got a call from 07444921127 today, supposedly from AMAZON [.com?]. A woman’s pre-recorded voice claimed that a recent order was confirmed, and that £700 would be taken from my bank card using my registered iPhone 13. I was told to press "1" to speak to Customer Services. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Definitely a SCAM. It could really fool someone who’s ordered from Amazon and just happens to own an iPhone 13 [which I don’t]. This sort of call is really risky.
