These debt agencies are a joke. I told the guy I had no issues with debt and he just kept saying I was wrong and paying too much to creditors. Maybe I can actually afford my payments, mate. He wouldn’t listen and just kept trying to shove this IVA down my throat. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number. Wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them. If anyone needs help, look into official government schemes instead. These scammers will just take your cash and leave you worse off.

I picked up this call and some guy from India asked if I had any debts. I jokingly said I was about £3.6million in debt, but the strange thing was it was all with Santa Claus. He didn’t catch on that I was messing with him, so I went further and said I owed four more companies, adding up to £11.2 million. His reply was, ‘are you finding it hard to settle these debts?’ Pretty obvious scam and he's just reading a script - I don't think they even have a clue what they’re doing!
