I received a call a moment ago from a number that lasted for 24 minutes starting from 11.24am. The person who called me identified herself as Nur Sabrina binti Shamsudin from RHB Kuala Lumpur. She was discussing the purchase of RHB essential cover 20, which costs RM61.20 per month for the first 10 years. Now, I'm concerned whether this RHB essential cover 20 is legitimate or if it's a scam. I'm worried that I might lose the money in my account because I unknowingly said 'yes' to something I don't have much information about. Could someone please assist me?

Oh my goodness, I have also received a call from RHB. They asked me to buy insurance at a monthly rate of £65. The person on the call had my full name and IC number. I feel like I have been deceived. What should I do now? I would really appreciate your help!

I just received a phone call from this number moments ago. To my surprise, there was nobody on the line. However, I could hear loud background music playing in the background. This situation has alarmed me as it raises concerns that this number might be trying to mine my personal information, hack my one-time password (OTP), or gather my banking details. I am relieved to have found this page, which addresses similar issues. Nevertheless, I am still curious about why there was background music playing during the call. Have any of you faced a similar experience before?

I have received an unexpected call regarding insurance from someone representing RHB Bank who had all of my personal information. The person calling was a Chinese woman who spoke to me about the insurance. I only said "okay" because I had just woken up from sleep and didn't fully understand what was happening. I did not provide any confirmation or agreement, just a passive response. Now I am concerned that I might lose money from my account. Is it possible that this call was legitimate from RHB Insurance?

I have recently received a call from this number, and the person on the other end claimed to be representing Celcom at Ara Damansara. They were promoting the Note 4 for RM888, along with a Celcom package that requires a 24-month contract. They mentioned that they would email the details of the promotion to me in 5 days. Afterward, I contacted Celcom to inquire about this promotion, but they informed me that the Celcom package for the Note 4 is actually priced at RM988.

I received a phone call this morning from someone congratulating me for being selected as a lucky person. The caller was aware of my name, date of birth, and age. They informed me that starting today, I will be protected by accident and life insurance for a period of 15 years, provided by Prudential through their "We Care" program. According to the caller, in the event of an accident, I can claim anywhere between a minimum of RM4000 to a maximum of RM100,000. They continued with more details, but soon mentioned that I would need to pay RM2 per day, which amounts to RM62 per month via auto debit. Although they claimed that Prudential would cover all expenses, this sudden mention of payment raised my suspicions. If I have to pay, then why congratulate me in the first place? It became clear to me that this was a scam attempt.

I recently received a phone call from a number claiming to be from Prudential. They introduced a new insurance plan called "Pru My Care" and asked for my debit card number, IC, full name, and address. I'm concerned that this might be a scam because they insisted on obtaining personal information. Unfortunately, I fell into their trap and provided them with my details. I realize now that I need to cancel my card immediately.
