I totally get what the other person said about the caller sounding really sure of themselves. They said they were phoning from Virgin about some £400 payment in London. The moment I questioned them and said it felt like a phishing call, they just dropped the line.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Co-Op bank, asking about a payment that supposedly didn't go through. They were really pushy, trying to get my personal info and called me a couple of times to try and chat. Sounded pretty convincing and knew what they were talking about, but it felt dodgy to me. Definitely a scam.
