We got a text from this number saying there'd been suspicious activity on our bank account, pretending to be from Tide Security. Then, a private number called, and a guy spoke to my husband for nearly 10 minutes, telling him about fraudulent transactions and that they’d locked the card. When they started quizzing him for security details and he asked who they really were, they just ended the call. Tide has since told us the call wasn’t from them at all.

Just got a message claiming to be from Co-Op Bank saying they’d frozen £199.95 and their fraud team would give me a ring - that immediately set alarm bells off. Moments later, my phone rang from an unknown number, so I ignored it. They called two more times after that. Later, I checked with the real Co-Op Bank and they confirmed it was a scam. Watch out for this one!

This number rung me up earlier and it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be Royal Mail about a parcel they couldn't deliver. I didn’t press any buttons and just hung up straight away. Pretty certain it was one of those scams going about.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Coop bank. They were super convincing, already had loads of my info, and sent me a code to block my card. Luckily I didn’t use the code, or else they could’ve cleared out my account. What a sneaky scam!

I got a message saying someone from Coop Bank would call me about suspicious activity on my card, mentioning the last 4 digits. They seem to be getting wisr; when I asked questions, they insisted they wouldn’t ask for any confidential details. The call kept cutting out when I probed more, and then they said they’d call me back from a private number. I refused and said I’d contact the bank myself. They claimed the fraud team’s line was closed and that it was urgent. When they rang back, I didn’t pick up and they kept trying a few times more. Definitely a SCAM.

Got a call from this number earlier claiming they were from Co-op Bank or something like that, but they didn’t even say the full name properly. I just ended the call straight away. Later, I rang my bank to check and thankfully there were no dodgy transactions. Glad I double-checked, could've been dodgy for sure.

Someone pretending to be Peter Hawkins rang a workmate, asking for their bank info and a 6-digit code to approve a £1000 transfer to a Revolut account. Thankfully, my colleague wasn’t fooled, said no, and got in touch with the bank straight away. That was a proper cheeky scam attempt!

Got a call from some bloke who said he was Nigel, from my bank. He asked if I’d made any payments on my card that day. After hanging up, I rang my bank myself and found out there was no dodgy transaction and they hadn’t contacted me at all. I reckon he was planning to get me to cancel my card and then quiz me with security questions, but luckily I didn’t take the bait.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Co-op Bank, saying they needed to verify some transactions on my card from last night. They even sent me a verification code. I didn’t trust it and just hung up. Then they called me back from the same number. I rang 159 to check and they told me no one from the bank had called me and my account was all fine with no strange activity.

This number called me on my phone claiming to know the last four numbers of my credit card, which honestly freaked me out at first. I told the caller straight up I thought it was a con and pulled up this reverse phone site to check his number while we were still talking. As soon as I did, he just ended the call. Funny how that works! Just before his call, I got a silent ring from another mobile, so both have been blocked now. Seriously, don’t get tricked by his smooth talk.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Co-Op Bank. She claimed to have a customer who was with her and insisted she needed my banking details to sort out some payment issues. 0345 721 2213 called me the other day and they were really smooth, sending texts and emails too. They kept saying there was "suspicious activity" on my account. I told them none of the transactions were mine. Then they offered to ‘help’ me cancel my card but asked me to enter my PIN on the phone - as if that’s a safe move or something. Totally smelled like a scam. Nah, thanks though, I played them and came out on top.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the Co-operative Bank, saying there was suspicious activity on my account and they wanted to cancel my card to protect me. I got a call from someone wanting me to confirm some purchases. They listed the items and asked if I’d gotten a verification code, which weirdly showed up right then. I questioned why they were ringing me without proper security checks in place. Then I mentioned I was looking up their number and saw loads of bad reviews, so I suspected it was a scam. After that, I ended the call. No one tried to ring me again after.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the Cooperative Bank, telling me there was some dodgy activity on my account. We were on the phone for nearly 45 minutes before I started feeling suspicious and made up some reasons to hang up and then rang my bank myself. Thought I was savvy about these scams, but honestly, they nearly convinced me to move my money to another account, which now seems completely daft.

Got a call from 03457212213, said they were from the cooperative bank warning me about some fraud. This was right after I dealt with one of those dodgy NHS Green Card scams. Got a call from someone saying they were from the co-op bank fraud dept. but that’s not true. They try to get you to move your money to another account, saying there’s been fraud on your account. I got a call from a private number and then a text came through from this same number saying I’d get another call either from that number or a hidden one.
