Got a call this morning from 0345 6008875. The bloke said his name was Justin and claimed there was an issue with my M&S account because I hadn’t paid up. I told him I never bought anything from M&S, but he kept saying I owed £89.94. Asked him nicely to send me a copy of the statement by email so I could have a look. Still waiting for that email! Got a call on my landline at 8 in the morning, which is weird because hardly anyone knows this number. They were asking for someone I don’t know. I said it’s the wrong number, then they kept asking if I was that person. Nope, wrong number again. Then they wanted to know if I knew them, still no. I got a call and the bloke sounded a bit shady, so I just ended it. I then popped into M&S bank and gave them a ring. Turns out they were trying to get hold of me about a recent DD. It’s actually their fault as their security team didn’t handle my DD form properly. So no need to stress.

Got a call saying M&S wanted to chat with my hubby. Told them he was tied up. Just then, his phone rang but nobody picked up. Some reviews say it’s legit, others reckon it’s spam, so I’m kinda confused. He does have a Marks & Spencer card though.

I keep receiving calls on my landline from this number, but the caller never says a word. It's become a daily annoyance, ringing multiple times throughout the day. I really need to find a way to block this number from my landline. It's quite irritating, and it has to come to an end!

Got a spooky call - it rang about four times then just stopped before I could even get to the phone. Weirdly, the answerphone never kicked in, and the caller ID didn’t even show a missed call. I used 1471 to check the number. Suppose it’s M & S, but I have no clue why they’d ring me, as I’ve no accounts or cards with them. I usually don’t bother phoning back numbers I don’t know anyway.

Got a call from M&S Loan about a missed direct debit, seemed legit. I rang them back to check after I missed their call and they confirmed it was genuine.

M&S Bank gave me a ring - apparently I missed my direct debit last month, and instead of just trying to take it again (which would have cost me another £12 in bank charges), they call you to sort out a manual payment. Sounds like they're doing it to help customers dodge extra fees. I found out I had to set up the direct debit again because once you miss a payment, it gets cancelled automatically. They had been ringing me a few times before I finally got back to them.
