Phone number ☎️ 03456008972 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving calls, texts, emails and letters claiming to be from TSB, warning of fake arrears and urging victims to call a suspicious number. Callers often speak with Indian accents and provide some personal account details to appear convincing, demanding sensitive information like card numbers, DOB and postcodes. Victims report receiving multiple daily calls, sometimes at odd hours, despite requests to stop. The contact numbers given are not genuine TSB lines, and real TSB branches confirm no such collection activity via these channels. Users strongly warn others to beware and confirm any concerns directly with official TSB contact points.

I’ve been getting texts, emails, and now phone calls supposedly from TSB. Then outta nowhere, I got a letter at my house with this number on it saying I’m behind on my credit card payments (I actually paid it off and shut that card months ago). I rang TSB and they told me everything with my accounts is fine, so it’s definitely a scam.

My mum got an email from someone pretending to be TSB telling her to call a different number. Now she has a letter through the post full of spelling errors asking her to pay £5 for credit card charges, even though she’s already got a direct debit set up. Honestly, I don’t trust this number one bit. Watch out, folks.

Got a letter in the post claiming I owe money on my credit card, even though I’ve got a direct debit sorted. Bit odd, cos I just got an email saying the exact same thing, then they gave me a phone number to call to sort it out. And they said it’s from TSB bank or something? Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a call from 01619337240 claiming to be from TSB, telling me to ring 03456008972 about my account. Problem is, it’s definitely not during normal bank hours, so I’m thinking it’s a spam call.

They keep ringing, claiming they're with TSB, usually once a day. Definitely not from TSB though - it's a total scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got some texts about bank transfers but they had nothing to do with me. Not sure why they sent them my way.

Got a letter supposedly from TSB saying I should give them a ring. When I called, they immediately started asking for personal details. I ended the call because the letter seemed dodgy and was dated 31st March. Plus, I closed my TSB account more than four years ago, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

So on Saturday 3rd July, just before 5 in the evening, I got a ring from 03459758758. The bloke on the other end had an Asian accent and called himself Peter, saying he was from TSB. He kept asking for my security info before he’d go any further in the chat. I kept saying no, but he was really insistent. Eventually, he told me the 'bank' was closing soon and said I should ring TSB back on Monday at 03456008972. Pretty clear it was just another scam attempt.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TSB, saying they needed to talk about my account and I had to confirm some details. When I asked where they were calling from, they admitted it was an India-based call centre... but the number showing was an 0345 one! The bloke said his name was Akshay. I suggested heading straight to the bank myself, but he insisted it was better to sort it all out over the phone.

Got a call from 0161 933 7240 claiming to be TSB, but it’s definitely not them. They ask you to ring 03456008972, which isn’t a real TSB number either. The people on the line had thick Pakistani accents and struggled with English. Total scam, be careful!

Received a text claiming to be from TSB asking me to ring a number to "check if assistance is needed for your account". It also said, "to stop these messages call 0345 600 8972". The TSB account is actually for a 90-year-old man I look after, and my mobile is linked as the contact because I have power of attorney. Seems like a scammer trying to trick elderly folks who could get confused and fall victim. Would appreciate if someone looked into this.

I received a letter that looked like it was from TSB, saying I owed money on my account. But it didn’t say anything about my account number or sort code, which seemed odd. The letter told me to ring 03456008972 to sort out the issues. After checking with my local TSB branch, they told me it’s a scam. Definitely don’t bother calling that number!

I keep getting calls from different numbers, sometimes from this one and other times from 0161 933 7240, which is a Manchester code. Every time, the callers speak with an Indian accent and claim to be from TSB. I checked with my local branch and they assured me they never make cold calls. These people always want me to confirm my bank account and other private info. Of course, I don’t entertain them. It’s definitely a scam, so watch out!

Loads of calls and messages keep coming through to our home phone from what seems like some kind of Asian call centre, supposedly from TSB about personal bank stuff. They never ask for a specific person by name, but one bloke left a voicemail asking for your name and date of birth, then he switched the message asking us to ring them back on that same number. I had a look on the TSB website and all their call centres are actually based here in the UK! Another website mentions this is a scam and that TSB doesn’t even recognise that phone number, so best not to ring it back.

This number has been calling me every single day for like four months now, even though the person they keep asking for doesn't even live here. They ring at all hours, from about 8am right through til 8pm. Most times it’s a woman, sometimes a bloke, both seem to have an accent, maybe Indian. Anyone got any ideas on how to stop it?
