Then outta nowhere, I got a letter at my house with this number on it saying I’m behind on my credit card payments (I actually paid it off and shut that card months ago). Honestly, I don’t trust this number one bit. Watch out, folks.

So on Saturday 3rd July, just before 5 in the evening, I got a ring from 03459758758. The bloke on the other end had an Asian accent and called himself Peter, saying he was from TSB. He kept asking for my security info before he’d go any further in the chat. I kept saying no, but he was really insistent. Eventually, he told me the 'bank' was closing soon and said I should ring TSB back on Monday at 03456008972. Pretty clear it was just another scam attempt.

Every time, the callers speak with an Indian accent and claim to be from TSB. I checked with my local branch and they assured me they never make cold calls. Loads of calls and messages keep coming through to our home phone from what seems like some kind of Asian call centre, supposedly from TSB about personal bank stuff. I had a look on the TSB website and all their call centres are actually based here in the UK!
