This has gotta be a scam, the invoice number I was given isn’t even the right length and I’ve been emailing the address they gave but haven’t had any reply what so ever.

I reckon it’s a Fedex invoice scam. Got a bill saying I owe £8.07 for “import duty/vat paid by Fedex, or clearance fees or whatever.” The number on the invoice isn’t even Fedex’s. Plus, Fedex never delivered my parcel in the first place and I already covered the shipping when I bought the item. Seems dodgy to me.

Beware, these fake invoices are a total scam - best to just ignore them altogether!

That was suspicious. Got an invoice supposedly from FedEx but the number was missing a digit. Tried checking it through FedEx’s online portal but couldn’t find anything matching that invoice. The phone number, address, and bank info all seemed off too! I emailed FedEx directly to verify and now just waiting to hear back.

I got a call from a number claiming to be Fedex about paying a bill. Tried looking it up on the official Fedex website but that number isn’t listed anywhere. Seems dodgy to me.

I asked them to take my details off their list and they suddenly got really cheeky, asking if I was some kind of mechanic and what I’d do if my car broke down. I said yeah, I am a mechanic and I’d sort it myself, but then they started being all patronising, questioning what level of mechanic I was and even accused me of lying.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from FedEx, stating that I needed to pay £83.73 for some import duty and VAT they had supposedly covered. However, the number they called from isn’t one linked to FedEx customer service. We’re pretty suspicious and believe it might be a scam.
