I received a call from someone saying they were with Lloyds Bank fraud team. They told me there was a weird charge of £273.61 from Evri on my account. I never actually made that purchase. They were surprisingly clued up on my details which made it a bit convincing at first. But when they said they’d send a text with a code, the message came from a number that didn’t look like Lloyds at all. I got in touch with the bank afterwards and they confirmed it was definitely a scam. Apparently, some details must’ve been sold to scammers by another company. Stay careful out there, folks!

Got a call from someone saying they were from HSBC's fraud team. I was about to fall for it, answering their questions, but thankfully I called it off just in time. If you ever get calls like this, just hang up and ring your bank yourself. At first, the guy seemed legit but then I noticed he sounded jittery and was moving around, which made me suspicious. After I blocked their number, they tried calling me again from a hidden number.

Got a call from 0345 300 002 saying they were from Lloyd’s Bank, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They tried to accuse me of some fraud which is worrying since I only live on benefits and don’t have much money. Definitely looks fishy to me!

Couple days back I got a call from this number and things took a bad turn. They managed to clear out my account along with my partner's. Halfway through the conversation, we got suspicious and began recording what was said, but honestly, it felt like not enough to pin these scammers down. Definitely taught us a hard lesson.

Got a call where the person said they were from Lloyds Bank fraud team. They wanted to talk to my wife and even mentioned the last four digits of our account. When I said it’s a joint account and they could speak to me instead, they brought up a supposed £200 payment for dental work. I told them it sounded like a scam and then they just hung up. I checked with Lloyds myself and they said there’s no such transaction and confirmed it’s a scam. Watch out for this number, best to just ignore it!

This number just rang me up claiming to be from Lloyds bank. They told me I needed to send £1500 to a new account apparently set up for me because there was a scheduled transfer of £4000 to some strange account. I got in touch with Lloyds directly, and they confirmed none of it was right. Looks like I nearly got caught up in a bank scam.

Some bloke rang me claiming there was suspicious stuff going on with my TSB account. I told him straight up to get lost and called him a total scammer. By the way, I don’t even have an account with TSB. Banks don’t normally ring you up out of the blue, they usually send a text or email first and then you call them if something seems off. If you get a call from this number, just tell ’em to jog on, hang up and block ’em.

Got a call from this number and when I picked up they asked if I knew why they were ringing. It felt a bit off, so I mentioned some recent fraud I'd had on my bank account. They then repeated what I said but wrong, which made me more wary. They asked for my sort code and account details right after, so I just ended the call. Later got a voicemail with no sound. Don’t bother answering, it’s definitely not Lloyds!

Got a text claiming to be from Lloyd’s Bank fraud team. They seemed to know quite a bit about me but then asked for my debit card details - don’t ever share those! Also, don’t log into your online banking while on the phone with them. Just hang up straight away. They were calling from a number that wasn’t the official Lloyd’s one. If it happens to you, call Lloyd’s directly using the number on the back of your card to report it.
