03453000001 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03453000001 👆 is reported as a highly convincing scam number impersonating legitimate UK banks, predominantly Lloyds. Callers claim fraudulent transactions or suspicious activity on accounts, often knowing partial personal details to appear authentic. They request sensitive information, urge victims to transfer money to supposed “safe” accounts, or ask to download remote access software. Many victims nearly lost significant funds but some successfully avoided the scam by contacting their bank directly using official numbers. The scammers use variations of genuine bank contact numbers and pressure targets to act quickly. Authorities and banks strongly advise not to share personal details, never press numbers in automated calls, and always verify suspicious calls independently. Reporting attempts to police and adding numbers to blocklists is recommended, though scammers frequently change numbers. Vigilance and direct bank communication remain the best protection.

Someone called me pretending to be from Lloyds fraud team, never asked me for any info, just told me my card was used fraudulently and a replacement would be sent. I got a funny feeling, so I rang Lloyds myself later on. Turns out it was a con! The bank said they hadn’t contacted me at all, but there was an attempt to buy pricey stuff on my card which they blocked in time.

These con artists are getting so sneaky!! This caller is pretending to be some automated Lloyds bank service saying “are you attempting to pay £140 to an insurance firm? Press 1 to approve the payment... Press 2 to speak with the right department”... Honestly, just hang up straight away and dont press anything!!

This lad spoke quite well, but i had a gut feeling about his story so i kept him on the line for a good while. After a bit, i said i’d call Lloyds fraud dept myself and hung up. He called back trying to convince me he’d checked with his boss but i wasn’t having it. Told him i’d ring them from another phone and then he gave up.

23rd Nov 2040, got a call from 03453000001 claiming to be from Lloyds Security Team. This was their second try this week. Last time, they already knew my personal info, date of birth and bank account number, but they needed the security code on the back of my card, which I refused to give. I had to get a new card after that. This time, I just ended the call straight away. Turns out 03453000001 is definitely a scam number.

Got a call just now, these scammers completely ruined my lunch break. They wouldn’t stop ringing. Like others have said, they claimed to be from Lloyds fraud prevention. They even knew some of my personal info, sounded quite legit at first. But then they started asking me to move money from another account. I quickly blocked my card, requested a new one and told Lloyds about it. Watch out for these lot!!!

Someone rang claiming to be from NatWest Fraud team, saying there were some dodgy transactions on my account. It dragged on way too long and the card number they gave wasn’t mine at all. I ended up hanging up when I heard some weird clicking sounds on the line. Then they called me back, so I just cut off again.

I received a call claiming to be from Barclays, inquiring whether I utilise their online banking application on my mobile. They then put me on hold, but as I don't generally use my phone for banking, I found it a bit suspicious. Eventually, the line went dead. Definitely feels like a scam to me!

03453000001 is a scam, pretending to be Lloyds and trying to get into my bank account. Spent about 45 minutes arguing with them as they claimed to be fraud team. Thankfully I didn’t fall for it. Then they threatened to misuse my card and even come to my house and all that. I went straight to Lloyds after that and they sorted everything out. Don’t give them any info, by the way they somehow knew every single digit on my card front and back!

I got a call from 03453000001 where the person said there was some odd activity on my Tide account. They asked if I had authorise payments of £2000 and £300. They told me to move my money to a new account for security while they sent me a replacement card. At first it seemed real, but then I got suspicious when they told me to transfer the money right away. I said I’d rather wait for something in writing. Later, I looked up the number and it showed up as a scam. Watch out everyone!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Lloyds fraud team, saying there was suspicious activity on my card from a place I don’t live near. They said they spotted a payment and needed me to fix it right away. They somehow had the last 4 digits of my debit card and asked me to confirm the rest. When I said I’d call Lloyds back instead, they got a bit irritable and kept going on like a broken record. Warned them I was ending the call to ring the bank myself. Just a heads up, folks, keep your guard up!

I received a call from this number, and the individual on the other end asserted they were from the Lloyds bank support centre. Apparently, this occurred in Manchester, and astonishingly, they were able to provide the last four digits of my bank account. Quite unsettling!

Received a dodgy call from this number, attempting to persuade me to complete a fraudulent report form for Lloyds. I ended the conversation abruptly!

Just like what others have said, I received a call from this number purporting to be from Halifax, supposedly checking in regarding my fraud case that I reported the day prior (I regretfully fell for a scam email that pretended to come from Royal Mail and divulged some personal info). The chap who rang me was quite articulate and was reciting details I’d shared the previous day. He went on to assert that some of my other accounts might be compromised and suggested I should set up a new account to which I could shift my funds for safekeeping. At that point, it sounded terribly suspicious, so I decided to hang up and contact Halifax’s Fraud Department directly. They reassured me that the call had nothing to do with them, confirmed that my accounts were safe, and placed a flag on my account for safety’s sake.

I received a rather concerning call from someone purporting to be from my bank, claiming they were aware of fraudulent activity occurring on my account. The individual spoke rather fluently in English, yet I found it odd that they were inquiring about my account balance under the pretense of wanting to assist me. Thankfully, my bank has now launched an investigation into this matter.

My partner fell prey to a scam, and just a few hours after he reported it, he got a call from this number urging him to shift all his funds to "a new account" as his original one had been breached. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Spotted some dodgy charges on my bank account, over £3,000 waiting to go through. Just as I was about to ring my bank, I got a call from a number I thought was Lloyds. The person on the line didn’t ask for my personal info but somehow already had details about my account that no one else knows. They even got my address right and answered a security question. I put the phone down when they started demanding my PayPal details, then I rang Lloyds myself to report the scam. Looks like they lifted my card info and then pretended to be the bank to cover up the fraudulent transactions they made.

I received a call earlier today. When I picked up the phone, they rang me back three times in quick succession. It turned out to be a brief call from NatWest. They asked if I was M.M, to which I replied in the affirmative. Suddenly, they disconnected the call. I hastily logged into my banking app to check my account, but thankfully, there was no money missing.

Beware, it's a con! I received a call from someone masquerading as Lloyds banking customer service. The number that popped up on my phone looked authentic, ending with 2752 and 0116, which had me second-guessing. Just be cautious about who you’re really chatting to - no legitimate bank representative would ever request your complete password or push you to move money. Stay alert!

I just don’t get how some folks still fall for these bank scams, it’s crazy obvious really. Basic rule is: if your bank calls you out of the blue, hang up right away and make sure the line’s properly dead. Then ring your bank back on the number on the back of your card, not any number they gave you. Easy as pie! And if it’s a scam, report the number straight to the police via the Action Fraud site on their phishing reporting page.

Today, my wife received a call from this number, right on the heels of a phishing email we encountered last week. The spiel was identical to what others have described (a fraudulent "fraud department" mention, concerns over direct debits being initiated, and the suggestion to create new accounts to transfer funds). It all sounded so convincing and slick. Thankfully, she was on her way to work and decided not to engage further. After realising something was amiss, she asked me to contact Lloyds Fraud as a precaution, just to verify. Turns out, they confirmed it wasn’t from them and were quite helpful. Just a reminder to stay vigilant!

Hello there! Earlier today at 17:43, I received a call from a withheld number, followed by a call from 0345 300 0001, but unfortunately, it didn't quite connect. The gentleman on the line had a distinctly British accent. He proceeded to inform me that there was a withdrawal of £350 from my account and prompted me to log into my account. He mentioned an app on my mobile that I should check for further details. Be warned, though! Once you access your account while on the phone with these sorts, they can potentially compromise your device, eavesdrop, and whisk away your money. It’s wise not to access your banking app while conversing with someone on the phone. I took the precaution of checking my bank account on my laptop and everything appeared perfectly normal. Interestingly, I've noticed they often make these calls on a Friday, likely aware that Lloyd's Bank operates on a limited schedule over the weekend, closing their doors Saturday and Sunday. Stay vigilant!

Cheers, that actually gives me a bit of hope even tho I've been waiting nearly 3 weeks now. So far, they’ve only returned about a quarter of the money I lost, guess that might be all they’re prepared to give back.

It's quite apparent how individuals can be easily entrapped by this sort of con. I had a rather persuasive chap named Thomas on the line, and I must admit, he almost had me fooled. However, when he requested that I shift my ISA savings to a new sort code and account, the alarm bells started ringing in my mind. That's when I realised it was all a ruse. I made sure to gather as much information as I could from him before swiftly contacting Action Fraud and reporting it to my bank.

Just like everyone else here, I got a message about £105 being taken from Sports Direct and that they'd give me a ring. Seemed legit at first, but the call dragged on and I got suspicious. While still on the phone, I looked up the number online and found all these alerts. I ended the call, blocked it, then rang Lloyd's myself. This wasn't their actual fraud department for sure, and they probably wanted to fish for more info if I stayed on. Best thing is just to block and ignore.

03453000001 - my other half got a text from +447488813482 saying Lloyds bank saw a charge at Sports Direct for £105.97 and to reply yes or no. he replied no, then got a message saying someone would call. then the call came from 03453000001. i told him not to pick up and to ring Lloyds directly using the app or the number on the back of his card. really hope no one else gets caught out by this!

Scam call trying to trick you into giving your details. The bloke sounded a bit rattled when I said I didn’t have the info he asked for. Just hang up and ring your bank using a different phone to let them know about it.

Beware of this fraudulent operation posing as Lloyds Bank! The only thing differing is a single digit, yet the number closely resembles that of Lloyds. They've even concocted a story linking your card details to Aberdeen. Stay vigilant, and if you have any doubts, do give your bank a ring for confirmation!
