I reckon this is from one of those mail order firms like Easy Life, which I've bought stuff from in the past. They ring up and SAY they'll send a free trial for some subscription I never asked for, and tell you can cancel within 21 days by calling them. If you don’t cancel though, I guess they start charging your card that they already have your details for. It feels like a dodgy legal scam, so watch out!

The details of her speech were a bit muddled due to her accent, so I agreed with a bit of hesitation. Once I’d hung up the phone, I reflected on the conversation.
